BTS: Over the past year, Big Hit Entertainment has taken legal action against the perpetrators and malicious activity against BTS. The agency issued a further update regarding the procedure.

BTS fans already know that Big Hit Entertainment is working to take legal action against malicious commentators and internet activity. The agency, which manages K-pop artists RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Suga, has issued statements in the past to inform the fandom of the proceedings. In the latest process update, the agency revealed that it has new criminal complaints based on information submitted by various fans and information collected on the basis of their own monitoring.

In a shared statement on Weverse, Big Hit explained, “These include perpetrators who have previously been convicted and fined, as well as people who are believed to be engaging in malicious activity even while they are are investigated after we file criminal complaints against them. For those individuals, we will take legal action against them until their malicious behavior ceases altogether. ”

They revealed that a few individuals had created dozens of accounts for malicious posts. “We have monitored these accounts and filed complaints against several accounts,” the agency added. Big Hit further warned: “For those perpetrators who continue to engage in criminal activity after being convicted in court, we plan to file a claim for damages in civil court.” Big Hit will continue to take strict measures to ensure that perpetrators are prosecuted to the full extent of the law, and there will be no settlement or leniency. ”

They urged fans to share information about malicious posts against BTS and to report any instances of abuse. “We are always grateful for the affection and dedication shown by our fans to BTS. We will continue to work to ensure that the rights of our artists are fully protected,” the agency concluded.
