BTS joins Taylor Swift in exclusive Hot 100 & Billboard 200 club

The album earned Swift her seventh Billboard 200 No. 1, while “Cardigan” became her sixth Hot 100 frontman.

Swift welcomes BTS to elite guild with South Korean septet album Be and the track from the release “Life Goes On”. The album launches atop the Billboard 200 with 242,000 equivalent album units, while the song climbs to No.1 on the Hot 100 with 14.9 million US streams, 410,000 on radio and 150,000 sold (digital singles and physical combined).

Be is BTS’s fifth Billboard 200 No.1, while “Life Goes On” is the group’s third No.1 Hot 100, all earned in exactly three months, marking the fastest accumulation of three leaders by one act in over 42 years old.
