BTS sweeps iTunes charts around the world with “Permission To Dance”

BTS is already dominating the music charts across the world with their new song!

On July 9, BTS released the CD version of their hit “Butter”, as well as their brand new track “Permission to Dance”, co-written by Ed Sheeran.

Within hours of its release, the song rose to the top of the iTunes charts in many countries around the world. As of 9 am KST on July 10, “Permission to Dance” had already reached No. 1 on the iTunes Top Songs charts in at least 92 different regions, including the United States, Germany, Japan, Canada, Italy. and Australia.

Additionally, BTS’s music video for “Permission to Dance” racked up views at an impressive rate, surpassing 10 million views in just 39 minutes. By July 10 at 10 a.m. KST, the video had already surpassed 63 million views on YouTube.

BTS will also perform “Permission to Dance” during their next appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” next week. The group will return to the show for two evenings on July 13 and 14 at 11:35 p.m. ET.
