The Patriots will not be in the playoffs. Patriots practice linebacker Jack Cichy will apparently be.

The Buccaneers announced that Cichy was put on their active roster ahead of Sunday’s regular season finale against the Falcons.

A sixth-round pick of the 2018 Buccaneers, Cichy was released by the Buccaneers on December 2. The Patriots claimed him for waiver the next day, cut him several days later and signed him to the practice squad.

In addition to bringing Cichy back, the Buccaneers have also raised their own cornerback Herb Miller and defensive lineman Benning Potoa, replacing COVID-19.

Finally, the Buccaneers added running back LeSean McCoy to the injury report as questionable, but with a “non-injury” designation. It’s unclear why, for non-injury reasons, McCoy might not be available for Sunday’s game.
