Outgoing receiver Julian Fleming, 4th overall, signed up for Ohio State. Fleming, best catcher in the 2020 category, preferred the Buckeyes to Alabama, Clemson, Georgia and Penn State. He is the second five star to engage with Ohio State in this round.
"For a while, I thought of going to Penn State, then for a while in Clemson, and then I finally stopped and understood," Fleming said. "It was just the feeling at home and their players. Fleming, a 6-foot-2, 200-pound wide receiver from Southern Columbia Area High School in Catawissa, Pennsylvania, joins the five-star offensive tackle Paris Johnson Jr. in the class. It should be noted that the State of Ohio has obtained at least a five-star commitment in each of its classes since 2012.
This is the sixth five-star commitment for the Buckeyes going back to the 2017 class, and Fleming is now adding another elite-level receiver to the future offense.

The artistic director, designer and brander of Buckeyes, Samuel Silverman, has developed a program called Brand U, which guides players step by step through a brand promotion exercise and helps them develop their own brand. The program can last every four years, the player is on campus and has even absorbed players' time after college, in the field of their choice.
