Malcolm Brogdon, the Milwaukee Bucks goaltender, is expected to spend between six and eight weeks due to a small tear in the plantar fascia on his right foot, league sources told ESPN.

He is optimistic that he could return closer to six weeks, sources said.

Brogdon, who played in his 64 games this season with the Bucks, missed a handful of games because of plantar fasciitis pains. Tony Snell often started in his absence.

Brogdon averages 15.6 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.2 assists in 28.6 minutes per game, his best career result this season.

The Bucks (52-17) currently hold the best record in the NBA and will face the Sixers Sunday (15:30, ET).
