After Tampa Bay’s 19-17 victory over New England in Sunday Night Football, Buccaneers wide receiver Antonio Brown complimented Bill Belichick and the Patriots.
Brown, who played a game for the Patriots in 2019, was released after his battle off the field with legal issues. He eventually publicly attacked Patriots owner Robert Kraft and others.

After collecting seven receptions for 63 yards in the Bucs’ win, Brown said in his post-game press conference that playing for the Patriots was the “best experience” of his life.

“Bill Belichick one of the best coaches,” Brown said via NESN. “Preparing the players, on the pitch, off the pitch – the discipline. I remember going through those same corridors to go around the building to go to train.

“It was amazing to be a player, to play with him, just to see the preparation and the details that he reviews to make sure his team is prepared. And being able to talk to him after the game was an honor.”

Brown said that by joining New England he realized “what it meant to be a patriot.” He also praised Belichick, saying he was “detail-oriented” and “able to prepare players for every situation and make sure you know your opponent as well as he knows them”.
Brown was also asked about his feelings towards Kraft.

“You know, I always hate the utmost respect for (Kraft),” Brown said. “I just think emotionally, when I was going through my predicament in 2019 and I was cut and didn’t know if my career would continue, I think I was really emotional and maybe I reacted with a way that was immature.
“But I have nothing but the ultimate respect for RKK. (The Patriots) has given me a great opportunity to come here to further my career, to be part of the squad. And I never take that for granted. “
