BSPN's Mel Kiper, hair guru for iconic helmets, can not believe what the Buccaneers did in the second round of the NFL 2019 draft.
Kiper placed Tampa Bay atop his list of heads 2 and 3 yesterday.
At 39th overall, the Bucs picked cornerback Sean Bunting in central Michigan.
Kiper was flabbergasted.
Here are the best spots available when Tampa Bay joined Bunting, number 87 in the overall standings: Greedy Williams, Justin Layne, Lonnie Johnson Junior, Julian Love, Joejuan Williams, Long David, Trayvon Mullen and Amani Oruwariye.
Yes I had eight corners with higher notes than Bunting who were still on the board. Tampa Bay definitely needed a corner kick, but I would have chosen Greedy Williams.
Stay calm, Bucs fans. Keep calm.
Bunting may be a big player, but his selection will be more careful than most choices.
