Berkshire Hathaway (NYSE: BRK.B) (NYSE: BRK.A) stretches into the Middle East, opening an office in Dubai, reports Bloomberg, quoting a company statement
The company's unit led by Warren Buffett will be led by President Ihsan Husein Al Marzouqi and General Manager Phil Sheridan. Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Gulf Properties will have 30 advisors and support staff.
His goal is to triple the number of his advisers and open a second office in Abu Dhabi by one year, the company said.
The company is strengthening its presence in Dubai as the emirate's real estate markets peaked in October 2014 and have been in decline ever since.
Insurance Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance started operating in Dubai last year.
