Once Lidl has announced that it will reduce its used plastics by 2025 by 2025, the company is starting to take concrete steps to achieve this goal. The first step in the chain is to stop selling plastic products such as straws, cups, dishes and disposable utensils, as well as plastic ear muffs, available in the 89 stores at the end of 2019 the country. Plastic products will be replaced by alternative products made from recyclable materials that the company is currently developing with its partners and suppliers

Lidl plans to sell the purchased quantities of disposable plastic products and gradually switch to selling products from alternative materials.
