Ноумеа. A magnitude 5.5 earthquake was recorded in the New Caledonia region in the Pacific Ocean, reports the European Mediterranean Seismological Center .
The earthquake was recorded at 4:08 Bulgarian time, 242 kilometers north-east of New Caledonia, Noumea, and 74 kilometers northeast of the nearest town of Tadin at a depth of 10 kilometers. There is no evidence of property damage and injuries. Translation and edition: Julian Markov
