You have all heard of Kensington, is not it? It is the people who make this hardware port that helps to physically secure valuable electronic elements, usually in public places. They have just created a new docking station for Surface Pro, known as the SD7000 Dual 4K Surface Pro docking station.
The cute part is that it looks like a mini Surface Studio version, complete with a hinge for going up or down the tablet and a bit like the Microsoft Surface docks, has sides that engage in connecting to the ports, allowing you to have outputs sent to two 4K monitors, keyboards and mice. There is even a magnetic strip on the left side to store your surface pen. Of course, the key here is that the dock is secure on the desk, so no one can run away with your device.
This is a very short list of devices that use Microsoft Surface Connect technology. While the Surface DJ keyboards never appeared, this dock is a real device and Kensington did a great job of design, providing a small footprint and clean lines.
