Mega Man . Like a shirt I own, he has been shooting and shooting since 1987 – a figure that was once as widely known as Mario and Sonic. Unfortunately, due to the long lack of new games, fewer new players even know that older or older players have either advanced or silently lamented the apparent death of the blue bomber (19459005). While the original collection Mega Man Legacy Collection saw an earlier version on the PS4 and Xbox One, it did not spark the enthusiasm for launching the Legacy collection on Switch. This is mainly due to the fact that the Switch output of Legacy Collection 1 + 2 was announced at the same time as Mega Man 11 as well as Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 and 2. that Capcom ends up supporting the series, the original achievements of the Blue Bomber hold up after 30 years?

To start, yes, these are the same games that many of us have grown up with. No changes have been made to the level design, gameplay, enemy models, or elements you will remember in the past. Capcom and Digital Eclipse have done a fantastic job of transferring these games from their original systems to the Switch.
True, the graphics have been slightly cleaned up, the music sounds better and still the same, as usual with the remastering. However, that does not mean that there were no extra bonuses for players who decided to buy this collection for the first, second or even the third time.
The Switch versions of Legacy Collection 1 and 2 offer more than 100 new and unique images not found in previous versions, including box arts, cartridges and Japanese textbooks. I wish they also included the original English textbooks, just so that I could experience a little more nostalgia.
The switch version (as well as the 3DS version) for the Legacy Collection also includes the amiibo stand with the original Mega Man amiibos for Smash Brothers. Finally, for Legacy Collection, a rewind feature has been introduced that significantly reduces the difficulty of the original six games for those who choose to use it.
Realistically, there are too many games in this collection to mention each of them, with ten games being included on the cart coupled with the download code for Legacy Collection 2 That said, each of the 10 games play extremely similar to each other, with some games providing slight variations.
For those who have never played a Mega Man game before, the premise is simple: these are old-fashioned platform games. You travel from one edge of the screen to the other, jumping over obstacles and enemies while shooting at enemies you can not avoid with your main weapon, the mega buster
Each scene contains several hidden objects you need or the main weapon to acquire, and at the end of each step you will face that specific Robot Master. The special feature of Mega Man is that each boss will offer a specific boss weapon, which will be extremely powerful against one of the boss's remaining enemies.
Once each of the eight master robots has been defeated (or six in the case of Mega Man 1), you will have to cross Wily Tower. This last step is usually a ride where you will be forced to continue without recharging life or weapon energy for anywhere between 4 to 8 stages, culminating with a 2-phase clash against Dr. Wily, the main antagonist of the series.
There has been almost no deviation from this proven formula over 10 games, with even Mega Man 9 and 10 following and staying true to the series on all the gameplay mechanics, something not much Long series that
For older players looking for a return to the era of "Ninten-Hard" gameplay and eager to find the platform very solid or for new players looking for something different, it will be welcome. For others, who may not be used to the difficulty of these games and who want a little variation in their gameplay, you look at 10 games that are all identical but in their basic mechanics.

The later games also offer a function to store, either Auto or Roll, where the player can find bolts in each step and as an enemy to buy power ups, energy / life recovery items or extra lives. Beyond these things, Legacy Collection offers a new mechanism that I briefly discussed earlier: The Rewind Mechanic
Offered only in Legacy Collection, by pressing L, the player has the option to go back up to about 2 minutes of play., allowing them to avoid a lost life, a bad shot, to find the motive of Robot Masters – or just replay a segment of the scene where they would have done better.
Attention, absolutely destroyed any kind of difficulty that we can find in the original 6 games. This is fantastic for newcomers to the series or for younger players, however veteran platform players can see this as an insult.
I found it useful a few times in the original games. were sometimes incredibly frustrating, but just be warned, use this feature at your own risk if you want to preserve the planned difficulty of the original games.
In terms of history, there are just too many games for each of them their own segment. The stories in each game do not vary much, with the possible exception of Mega Man 8, but only because Capcom has tried to go with a heavier story for this episode of the franchise.
Of Any Mega Man Game Is Pretty Simple: Dr. Wily Does Something / Convinces the Robot Masters / Betrays Someone And Mega Man Has To Face The 8 Masters Robots to correct the problem. Each episode of the series varies slightly according to this general formula.
Personally, it did not bother me that much. Yes, it would be nice to have a Mega Man game with a little more history, which probably explains why I've enjoyed the game of Eight as much, but it's never been a big problem.
For the Formidable players, albeit formal, old-school platform game, the story will not be much of importance. For others, the fact that you know what will happen to each game can be a bit exhausting. All I'm saying is not jumping into any of the Mega Man games in this collection while waiting for robust storytelling.
The story in the Mega Man games is there mainly as a window cover for the gameplay. The small differences between the games can be quite interesting if you pay attention to the opening and closing scenes of each part. Mega Man 9 alone shows that Dr. Wily is not necessarily a complete narcissistic megalomaniac purely seeking world domination.
The soundtrack of the inherited collections has been very well preserved. We still have the same music from previous games, with boos and 8-bit beeps. The clbadic theme of Mega Man and the boss themes are still as intact and catchy as ever.
It's pretty interesting to hear how different themes and effects have evolved since the first 8-Nintendo Nintendo until the current PS3. much better sound quality and processing. For those who love music, if you wish, you can listen to every piece of gaming music through the extras menus of each collection.
The Mega Man series is among the best platform games that the hobby and the product industry. Mega Man himself was once one of the most recognized characters of the video game with Mario and Sonic.
The Mega Man Legacy collection allows a whole new generation to become a Mega Man fandom to relive some of the best platforming games. Although the games themselves may vary from one game to another, the overall quality of the series is obvious to the audience
The few quality of life additions to the older games really help the younger and newer players. Beyond all this, all the extras included in the collections, from museums to sound players, allow fans to better understand the show like never before. reflect the overall experience that a player should expect to play every game of said collection. For this reason, inherited collections are not perfect simply because some games are extremely easy while others are extremely difficult.
I miss some parts of the collection, such as English. translations of the original textbooks into the viewer. But overall, Legacy Collections 1 and 2 are still under surveillance, even with extremely variable levels of difficulty, laziness of previous games and their hitboxes, as well as the few missing items that should have been included.
