Media: Volkswagen is looking for a new car factory in Bulgaria

Volkswagen plans to open a new plant in Eastern Europe, and potential sites are Bulgaria, Turkey and Romania, reports Automobilwoche.

On November 18, Herbert Dice, director of Volkswagen, said the builder was looking for a new plant in Eastern Europe for the badembly of "Škoda" and "Seat" after 2022.

This occurs in a fierce internal struggle in the company. The Volkswagen German Workers' Union competes with the Skoda management to control the new factory.

It plans to work between 4,000 and 5,000 employees. By supplying the badembly lines with Skoda Carro and Seat Saeka.

Volkswagen has already confirmed its intention to transfer production of Pbadat limousines to the Czech Republic. But there is a production and cheaper destinations for cheaper models.

Alternatively, one of the company's engine plants in Poland or Hungary can be subsequently installed in a car badembly plant.

The reason for these shares of Volkswagen is the move to electric cars, which plan to invest 34 billion euros by 2022. They will be badembled in factories in Germany.
