The president of the Bulgarian Volleyball Federation (BNF), Dancho Lazarov, in office since 2002, will remain in office until 2021. The expected decision was confirmed at the end of the General Assembly of the Federation in Kazanlak.

In early October, the Board of Governors of the BFV decided to continue working for the same body for three years. This happened in the absence of Vice President Lubomir Ganev, who was in Buenos Aires for the Youth Olympic Games.

It is Ganev who has said he is ready to run for president of the federation ahead of the presidential elections. However, the federation's board of directors has taken steps to prevent this from happening. The volleyball leaders use the fact that the decisions of the 2015 General Assembly were recorded in court in April 2017.

The day before the general meeting in Kazanlak, is also held a meeting of the board of directors. The federation has focused on appointing a stranger as a coach of the national men's team. To the already discussed names of Silvano Praddi and Stefan Antiga are added those of the former breeder Camilo Placi and Montenegrin Igor Kolakovic.

Do you want to show you images of a wonderful party with the participation of Bulgarian volleyball leaders on the eve of the General Assembly. Lazarov and the President of the European Confederation, Alexander Boricic, can attend the party.

According to the BFV website, Boricic pointed out that there had been no better world championship organization since his joint driving in Bulgaria and Italy, and that the two countries had established a new standard for the World Cup.
