The new Hyundai Palisade was officially presented at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The biggest crossover of the brand will be marketed in the summer of 2019 and will compete with major crossovers such as Toyota Highlander, Honda Pilot and Mazda CX-9.
Hyundai Palisade can be considered the heir of the ix55. It is significantly larger than Santa Fe. Its length is 4981 mm, its width is 1976 mm and its wheelbase is 2900 mm. In the design, we find elements of Santa Fe, but Palisade is generally more muscular in appearance.
The room can accommodate eight people in three rows. Most rear seats are comfortable and even have file-level adjustments. The second row seats are equipped with heating and ventilation. The front seats are huge and offer unique comfort according to Koreans.
The most expensive changes include a virtual dashboard and a large 10.9-inch touch screen. Instead of a shifter, stylish knobs are fitted. All versions are equipped with an adaptive cruise control with semi-autonomous operation, preventive braking systems and many other safety systems.
The larger Hyundai is equipped with a V-shaped six-cylinder gasoline engine. Its working volume is 3.8 liters and its maximum power is 292 horsepower. This engine works in conjunction with an eight-speed automatic transmission that can transmit the timing (as modified) to the front and four wheels.
