A new add-on has been released in the official Google Chrome browser store that blocks scripts from sites that secretly encrypt crypto. The creators of Qualys claim that their software differs from others and is more efficient. Many of these extensions rely solely on blacklists of Internet addresses that use the unregulated virtual currency user's computer. Qualys BrowserCheck CoinBlocker also works with a blacklist but also uses a heuristic code badysis of every site you visit. This blocks addresses that are not blacklisted when the plugin detects suspicious activity. The developers of Qualys BrowserCheck CoinBlocker say that they are running versions of their add-on for other popular browsers
