Steam once again changed the banhammer from July 17, marking a new record for the Valve Anti-Cheat (VAC) system with 60,000 targeted accounts in a single day. The new wave of steam ban is the largest we've seen in a long time, showing how the company does not treat cheats lightly.
According to SteamDB, more than 80,000 accounts have been deleted. Wave ban steam, with 28,440 of these bans happening on the first day. After that, 61,466 other accounts were hit by the banhammer on July 19, marking a new record for the company.
