It's a little surprising last year when Xiaomi released its Android One phone – one of the first manufacturers in the world to do it. The Mi A1 is apparently very well sold, as do most Xiaomi devices and all eyes are turned towards them.
Xiaomi has always made good material but her software experience was not to everyone's liking. For this reason, the A1 A1 has succeeded and now they are ready to announce the Mi A2 (with a rumored third Android One phone).
Overnight, storage and color possibilities for the Mi A2 fled. customers. There will be three minimum colors (the leak is for variants for Spain, so may have more color options in other regions) – Gold, Blue and Black. The phone will also come in 4GB of RAM and 32/64/128GB of storage options as well as a variant of 6GB / 128GB. This is the first specification image that leaked and all the other details are just spread.
Rumors are that the Mi A2 arrives with a Snapdragon 660 in tow, a 2160 x 1080P screen of 5.99 inches (18: 9 aspect ratio). The camera configuration is supposed to be a dual rear camera configuration – 12MP primary sensor and 20MP secondary sensor – with a 20MP camera facing the front. There is apparently a USB-C charging port that can use QuickCharge 3.0 to charge the 3010mAh battery. The fingerprint sensor will be on the back of the phone. It will of course come with Android 8.1 Oreo (Android One) out of the box.
Other rumor specifications include Bluetooth 5.0, a 3.5mm headphone jack, dual SIM. At this point, the prices are unknown, but you expect Xiaomi to review its very competitive Android One phone.
The Xiaomi Mi A2 is expected to be announced within a week, with availability by the end of July. It is extremely unlikely that they are sold directly by them. If you want to get your hands on it, you will have to go through one of the many gray market importers that offer the service.
