Amazon's main rivals have entered into a strategic contract

Walmart, a retailer, announced Tuesday that it had formally entered into a strategic partnership with technology giant Microsoft. Its goal is to extend the use of cloud technologies and artificial intelligence technologies in store chains.

The news that the two companies put their hand back in June. Although in different areas, both are the main direct competitors of the Amazon. This is why their partnership is considered extremely important. Analysts point to Walmart's efforts to dramatically increase its online presence while Microsoft is working on technology to remove checkouts and paylines from stores.

Amazon, for its part, has already published its first non-monetary retail outlets and has a plan for their gradual expansion.
