The yellow code because of the cold weather was announced today in 23 districts. And in Dobrich, Varna, Burgas, Yambol, Sliven, Haskovo, Kardzhali and Smolyan, there is also a stormy wind warning.

The Black Sea coast will remain windy with a strong north-northeast storm wind. In the afternoon and in the southern regions, precipitation will cease. Temperatures will continue to fall and the maximum will be minus 1 to 2 °, only in the most southerly regions up to 5 °. The temperature of the sea water is 10-13 °. The excitement of the sea will be 4-5 balls.
There will still be snow in the mountains in the morning, but it will stop in most places until noon. In the afternoon above the mbades of western Bulgaria, the cloud will dissipate temporarily. The snowfall in the region of Rila-Rhodope and Strandja and Sakar will stop at the latest. It will blow a moderate to strong northeasterly wind. Cooling will continue and the maximum temperature at 1,200 meters will be approximately minus 4 °, 2,000 meters – about 8 °.
Tonight, the snow blocks the main road Sofia-Varna, stopping with trucks and buses. The whole section between Sevlievo and Veliko Tarnovo was icy.
Most of last night's snowfall fell in the Montana area. The snow cover has reached 27 cm.
