Comcast has withdrawn today from the company's ########################################################################################## Call for tenders for Twenty-First Century Fox's entertainment activities, pointing out that he would rather focus on the pursuit of the European Sky TV operator, according to Associated Press, quoted by BTA

Withdrawal leaves the door open to Walt Disney Corporation to buy the badets of Twenty-First Century Fox with its $ 71 billion offering. The US Department of Justice has given its consent to Disney's bid if the company sells 22 regional sports networks. Fox shareholders will vote on Disney's bid on July 27th.

Last week, Comcast increased its offer for Sky to $ 34 billion after Twenty-First Century Fox raised its $ 32.5 billion. Sky works in Austria, Germany, Ireland and Italy, as well as in the UK, and has 22.5 million users attracted by suggestions such as the broadcast of the English Highlights and the Game of Thrones.

Comcast and Fox Want Sky to bring together more programming content, competing for viewers with both traditional TVs and technology companies like Netflix and Amazon.

Comcast shares rose more than 2.5 percent in the morning trading. Disney shares added 1.2% while Fox fell 1% before the stock market.
