"The Magic Flute" at Lignau Marionette Opera, Germany
The 14th International Music Festival "Mozart Feasts" (July 12-15) in Pravets has begun. He is badociated with the world-famous singer Hristina Angelakova / October 29, 1944 – May 20, 2018 /, who was his artistic director. "I am ambitious, I have strength, I have a desire, I put a fantasy, I want things to be as good as possible … I try every time that" Mozart's Festivals "are half-way but time is changing, the symbiosis of the various arts."
This year the focus of the festival is the puppet – the new opera hero. It is shown by the puppet opera house in Lindau, Germany, which visited Bulgaria for the first time. The first night, they showed Mozart's "The Magic Flute" and "Swan Lake" on July 14th.
If spectators forget that only puppets play on stage, puppeteers have achieved their goal. There is nothing accidental here – both as a stage set and a costume, such as the look of the doll, the game, the choreography. All movements are reflective, categorical and precise with music. Because the puppet does not sing, there is no expression on the face, but any form of expression is transmitted by gestures. The closest possible approach to human models is the core of the philosophy of puppet operas. And the 3D effect gives hint at depth-nearness, size. This is the design of Bernhard Lbadmüller who created in 2000 the puppet opera, which today counts about 450 dolls, a team of 20 people and a permanent permanent scene in Lindau. And if at first there were about a dozen viewers, they are now 150,000.
