Breckitt's chief British and European negotiators, Dominique Raab and Michel Barnier, met to discuss plans for the UK to leave the EU. Yesterday, the European Commission issued a notice describing the EU preparations for British liberation in both possible scenarios – with or without agreement. The EU has made it clear that it wants an agreement to allow a smooth exit from the Union and the least economic damage possible for both parties. The agreement must be ready in the autumn to be able to vote in the EP and the British Parliament
