Fitbit unveiled a series of new fashion groups for the Versa smartwatch, following a partnership with the Council of Fashion Designers of America.
The straps of the PH5 collection are knitted each with a striped, ribbed or "metallic" pattern and two color variations. The latter, which is essentially a knit look with a subtle metallic twinkle, is both black and silver, while the ribbed knit look in pink / white and a navy with pink and light blue accents (above).

Each $ 39.95 band is available now for users looking to style their smartwatch, but be aware that both described above are only available in the Fitbit store, while the striped knitwear badociation is exclusive to Target for those in the United States.
As you can probably see from the video below and the styles we just described, it's a collection that's not just about the fashion, but which is addressed almost exclusively to women. It also mimics what we saw with the Apple Watch, giving users design options to choose from, as well as that of the company. And since the Versa already looks a little like the Cupertino smartwatch, which offers its own similar knitted tapes, the similarities should become even more palpable.
That said, the movement does not really come as a shock. Fitbit has regularly collaborated with fashion houses on its more versatile trackers, such as the Fitbit Alta HR, although these usually deal for men and women.
Last June, Fitbit noted that she had sold a million Versa units since it went on sale earlier in the year, which seemed to show more popularity than the one she was selling.
