The Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC) is determined to create complete chaos with the newly created new regulation on the introduction of the bonus-malus system, which has been waiting for at least a decade, to pay compulsory third-party liability insurance . In principle, it must relieve the good guides, without disrupting the road, and load the shakes on the road with an additional payment. However, in the option chosen by the commission, the bonus is hard to get, according to Sega.
A possible solution, and not the repeal of one of the most outrageous provisions, will be the subject of discussions: when reselling a car, it will "inherit" from the bad history of its former owner, the new owner will continue to pay more expensive insurance.
This was stated at a press conference given by the independent regulator on Monday. According to the data provided by the Commission, 78% of car owners (more than 2 million cars) will pay a cheaper policy because they will be eligible for bonus clbades of the new system. The committee estimates that about 44% or 1 million drivers will reach the maximum bonus over the years and pay 25% less than the base price of the policy. This contrasts sharply with the recently published Safes Index, officially presented by SDI, in collaboration with the Ministry of the Interior, the Ministry of Transportation and the Ministry of Education and Science. As Sega wrote, according to this data, one in three drivers has been sanctioned at least once in the last year. The most common offenses were speed and inappropriate parking.
Speeding is one of the major aggravating factors in introducing the burden of liability. If the driver has been caught with such an offense, the insurer will automatically charge 10% more than the base price of insurance that he has established. If this violation is in a regulation and seriously exceeds the allowed speed, it can reach 30%. The biggest penalty – over 400% – will be due to serious disasters with death. The fall in the heaviest group also occurs when at least 8 to 9 minor offenses are committed in the year.
According to the draft order, the slightest violation is the maximum speed of 30 km / h outside the colony, which entails a penalty point and may result in a premium increase of 10%. Exceeding the maximum authorized speed of 50 km / h outside the regulation has 2 penalty points and 20% penalty, while in the regulation, 4 penalty points and 40% weight.
