Australia is one of the few countries that Google typically includes in the first wave of product launches and services. With a new location in Melbourne, the company has opened its second office at Compliments Headquarters in Sydney.

Melbourne is Australia's second most populous city with the official opening of the Collins Street office on Thursday night. With more than a hundred offices, half of the building is already occupied. Google plans to further develop the team and to welcome local community groups into the new space.
From only 4 people when Google Melbourne started a few years ago, today we have more than 50 employees to expand the team. We are growing because our partners – local businesses and community groups – are growing.
The office will house marketing, support, policy sales and cloud computing staff, according to The Urban Developer . However, the company's engineering center will remain in Sydney. This despite The Sydney Morning Herald noting that Google has struggled to find a second site closer to its headquarters.
Google's offices usually go to a city's surroundings, with workspaces called a graffiti wall. The auditorium "The G" presents a living plant wall. In the style of Google, the celebrations were launched by an order "OK Google, open the office of Google Melbourne"
Made by Google products available in Australia include Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL, Google Home and Home Mini , Google Wifi, Chromecast, Daydream and Pixel Buds.
