Hearthstone is about to get a whole new expansion in the form of the Boomsday project. It will add more mechs to the game, as well as a handful of new game mechanics and cards. Hearthstone The Boomsday Project Release Date
With what appears to be a Blizzard leak, we are now aware of the upcoming Hearthstone expansion. It's called The Boomsday Project, and revolves around Dr.Boom and his experiences in the Netherstorm. The Boomsday Project will be launched on August 7 and will give players access to a ton of new maps and keywords

Although we do not have the full list of news cards that will come to Hearthstone As part of the expansion of the Boomsday project, there are some that have already been exposed. Blizzard will reveal more during a livestream at 1pm. AND July 23rd. The new cards include a new gameplay mechanism, as well as new Legendaries. Hearthstone The Boomsday Project Magnetic Maps
One of the new features introduced by the Boomsday Project is the Magnetic Map. They can be played as regular servants, but can also be played as spells if you have another mech on the board. This leads to some awesome possible combinations, and will undoubtedly be an incredibly useful tactic to go forward. Magnetic Minions can come in Hunter, Paladin or Warrior. Hearthstone The Boomsday Project Omega Cards
Omega cards are also being added to Hearthstone as part of the new expansion. Omega cards give players special effects if they contain 10 mana crystals. For example, the Omega Defender card gives players +10 to attack if they have 10 mana crystals. They do not cost mana crystals, but they can only be activated when the threshold of 10 is reached.
Hearthstone Project Cards
Another new set of cards is Project Cards. These new cards are powerful spells that affect both players. This biology project card gives each player 2 mana crystals.
Hearthstone Boomsday Project Legendary Spells
Legendary spells are added as part of the Boomsday Project, bringing powerful magical effects. This legendary spell, unstable element of Myra, draws all the remaining cards from your deck.
Hearthstone The Legendary Boomsday Shaman Project
The last card we know today is a legendary shaman card called Electra Stormsurge. It's a basic 3/3 that allows the player to cast his next spell twice.
Hearthstone The Boomsday Project Map Reveals Livestream
As mentioned before, there will be a livestream on July 23rd that will reveal more maps and details. Boomsday Project. It will start at 1 pm AND will be hosted on the Twitch channel of the game.
