The Japanese company Nissan has introduced its new Nissan Leaf NISMO RC electric sports car. The presentation took place on the Nissan Crossing, near the Ginza luxury promenade in Tokyo.

The electric car Nissan Leaf NISMO RC is equipped with two electric motors mounted respectively on the front and rear axles. The total power of the engines is 240 kW (120 kW per engine) and the torque is 640 Nm. This is more than double the figures of the previous Leaf NISMO RC, introduced in 2011.

Thanks to the two motors, the power is distributed independently between the bridges and the race car is very resistant to bends. The battery is low – between the decks and lowers the center of gravity. Does not indicate the capacity of the battery used.

The design of the electric car is as aggressive and aerodynamic as possible. The electric car has a length of 4546 millimeters and a height of 1212 millimeters only.

The body of the car is carbon fiber reinforced and weighs only 1220 kilograms. The Nissan Leaf NISMO RC accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 3.4 seconds, 50% faster than its predecessor.

The creators of the Nissan Leaf NISMO RC have announced that they would be only 6 copies of this electric car.
