Lamborghini Aventador SVJ promises a new level of performance

Lamborghini released a video showcasing the upcoming Lamborghini Aventador SVJ trials on the Nurburgring, while claiming that the model was "designed to have the best weight / power ratio". It follows the first episode of a mini-series of teasers, which will be broadcast while Lamborghini continues to watch the Super Veloce Jota based on the Aventador S.

What exactly does the power claim- weight requires additional clarification. Applied in a Lamborghini context, this would mean that the SVJ displays a power-to-weight ratio that exceeds the 456 hp / ton, awarded to the Aventador SV. However, this badumes that we exclude all-carbon fiber, Sesto Elemento (only twelve manufactured products) from the equation, which has a power / weight ratio of 563 hp per ton.

To achieve the "best" ratio, Lamborghini added enhancements to the Aventador S platform by creating the SVJ – probably influenced by previous track models Lamborghini as the Aventador SV and Huracan Performante.

We do not know the exact nature of these changes. However, it is expected that the 6.5-liter V12 of the Aventador S – rated at 730bhp and 509lb ft of torque – is blown in and a 50bh increase sounds pretty much right, based on the performance uprising of the Aventador SV (on the Aventador). By using the SV again as a guide, the SVJ should weigh 50 kg less than the Aventador S.

A quick look at the photos confirms the duties of the SVJ on track. to its aggressive body kit, aerodynamically optimized. It will incorporate the active aerodynamic technology of the Italian brand – ALA – which was presented for the first time on the Huracan Performante. At the rear, the exhaust outlets were moved up into the center section of the dashboard, allowing Lamborghini to redraw the rear diffuser where the hoses were previously housed.
