Lidl and Kaufland limit the plastic

"Kaufland" has become another major commercial chain that intends to restrict the use of plastic. The company will reduce the use of plastic from 20% to 2025 in all countries where it works, including Bulgaria. In addition, it will provide 100% packaging recycling of its own brands, announced Bulgaria's Kaufland.

Recently, Lidl Bulgaria also announced measures against plastics by reducing the use of 20%

stop selling plastic sticks and straws next year, replacing them with their alternatives. Both articles are explicitly mentioned in the text of the new European directive on plastics, which is still the subject of debate. "Kaufland" presents in each hypermarket its ability to return waste such as leaves, cardboard boxes, batteries and small electrical appliances.
