The locomotive of a pbadenger train headed for Sofia-Ruse exploded in flames on Saturday night near Pavlikeni, Trud said.

The incident occurred around 7:10 pm, nearly 200 meters before the city station. Engineers reacted slightly, stopped the train and pulled the 20-ton pbadenger from the three cars. The power supply was cut off and a signal was fired at 112. Two special fire trucks with six firefighters, who extinguished the fire, responded.

Miraculously, there are no pbadengers or staff injured. The damage is caused to the engine compartment of the locomotive. The causes of the incident will always be clarified, probably due to a technical failure.
