Maybe they found the salute for the internal combustion engine – Technology

The madness unleashed with Dieselgate has resulted in the constant death of the internal combustion engine over the past two years. If that will happen, when it will happen – there is no clear answer yet, but it is undeniable that all companies are absolutely interested in electric vehicles (or any other type of vehicle). propulsion) to meet increasingly stringent environmental standards. This will inevitably lead (in the near future) to push back the ICE, the first being the Diesel.

But a few days ago, in Germany, news came, which is a ray of hope for our well-known technology.

German MWI Micro Wave Ignition AG has a solution that could offer a very strong resistance to the wave of new electric cars. The engineers of the company have developed a new ignition method, replacing our famous candle with pulsating microwaves. According to the company, this method reduces fuel consumption by 30% and emissions by 80% when fuel burns at low temperatures.

The company, based in the small town of Emphingen, has a powerful "back". Vendelin Wadeking, the former director of Porsche AG, who revived the iconic sports brand, is one of the shareholders.

MWI has delegated the rights of Macquarie Capital, looking for a partner to advertise the new system and increase the financial strength of the company. MWI is believed to be in talks with major South Korean and Chinese manufacturers, but no confirmation is given in this regard, according to Automotive News.

Videeking and other private investors own 20% of the company's capital, which is controlled by its creators Armin and Volker Galatz.

"I am convinced that MWI is a huge innovation with great market potential," said Wadeking.

This technology could protect and keep clbadic cars longer on the road. Recall that there are companies that continue to develop new ICE technologies, including Mazda.

MWI is keen to badert that its technology can be integrated into the existing engine infrastructure and will not require the creation of a completely new approach to engine construction.
