Monster Hunter: World PC release date will be revealed on Monday

Capcom announced an announcement, letting us know that it will reveal key details about the Monster Hunter: PC's Monday PC release.

Up to now, all we really knew about the PC version of Monster Hunter: World, is that it will happen this fall. But in a tweet this morning, Capcom said the release date, the distribution platform and the system's minimum specifications would be ready for the public on Monday, July 9 at 9:00 am PT / 5:00 pm BST.

Monster Hunter: World launched on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in January, and PC players have naturally been eager to get their hands on the latest entry in the popular Capcom franchise – the first to have (officially) made the PC jump in the west

Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto said that as this is the first PC version of Monster Hunter, they needed more time to make it as well as good as possible. This has included the creation of a bespoke PC matching system, which hopefully will be a little less awkward than the one we saw in the Monster Hunter editions: World

. Japanese console games, with notable examples, including Square Enix's Final Fantasy XV and Koei-Tecmo's Nioh. Hopefully Capcom will continue with the Monster Hunter PC Edition.
