Monument commemorates the 100th anniversary of organized football – Plovdiv

A new sculpture "100 years of football in Pazardzhik" embellishes the park-island "Svoboda". The monument was erected as part of the celebrations of the 100th anniversary of Hebar Club and organized football in the city at the initiative of the team and the local municipality

The place of the plate is symbolic since it was the first stadium played football in Pazardzhik – the current Rosarium and part of the park stadium in the park.

The composition of the jubilee was made by Professor Stefan Lyutakov. The creator reveals that he wanted to create an original composition that sounds modern, to radiate energy, optimism, movement, youth.

The commemorative sculpture is made of stainless steel, bronze and marble. The emphasis is on the bronze ball, perched on the dynamically moved metal net. An ephemeral state is sealed – culminating in the football game. The composition includes a marble form, which is at the same time the base and place where the event is celebrated, an opportunity for this sculpture. The combination of materials helps the work to sound both clbadic and modern like football in Pazardzhik.

This is the first initiative related to the jubilee football festival after filming a postcard, a badge and a football team.
