The idea was born naturally and spontaneously, since we have the desire to meet and collaborate with different GOLDEN FESTIVAL and who helped to realize it? artists to create together. The festival will last two days and more than 20 artists will be on stage. What can you tell us about them?
We decided to present the hip-hop scene in all its variety and color. Without dividing and labeling. That there is something for everyone. There is no way, despite our desire, to invite all artists at once, but in future editions, we hope to provide a scene to each one who wishes it.
We want to go beyond the limits and limits of the different trends of hip-hop culture. The idea is to show all his palette and his nuances. GOLOKA FEST will feature commercial and underground artists, dancers, DJs and graffiti artists. There will be fun, there will be a show, there will be food for the body and the soul.
How did you introduce the Bulgarian hip-hop culture and the audience of foreign artists who will be the first to meet it?
Hip-hop is hip hop wherever a person comes. There is a personal opinion, a position and a message. There is no language barrier to music – it feels good. It is good to understand what the performer is talking about especially to get more clarity, but, as I have already mentioned, the music is felt. Especially for guests from Macedonia and the United Kingdom this year, there was no need for a special presentation of Bulgarian hip-hop, as they were present before us, have observations, of the Experience and joint projects with Bulgarian artists. It's a great joy and a great honor for us to have foreign artists capable of enriching even more varied games.
