The semifinals of Overwatch League start today with a pair of matches full of drama and intrigue. The stakes are high as the winning teams will book their tickets for next week's Grand Finals at Barclay's New York Center, where they will compete for a million dollar prize. But which teams have the best chance of qualifying for the final? Continue reading to discover
New York Excelsior (# 1) vs Philadelphia Fusion (# 6)

In one corner is a team considered the best in the entire Overwatch League, in the other, a group of competent players who are ready to prove that they can play when that is Most important. The two aforementioned teams are the NYXL and Philidelphia Fusion which, in addition to being full of talent, also has one of the best rivalries of the Overwatch League

It is extremely difficult to distinguish a specific player on the NYXL. as the key to the series, but their team is very much fueled by the work of Jong-ryeol & # 39; Saebyeolbe & # 39; Park and Sung-hyeon & nbsp; JJoNaK & # 39; Bang. Saebyeolbe is the leader of the team and one of the best captains in the Overwatch league. He is also a god tracer player and his ability to reverse the course of the battle is unparalleled. As for JJoNaK, he was elected MVP of the league for a reason and his deadly Zenyatta game could be the reason why NYXL qualifies for the Grand Final.

Projected Winner: NYXL
New York has dominated Philadelphia lately, but he has not played an official match in Overwatch League since he's lost against the Valiant in phase 4. As a result, if the Fusion can dig deep and play a game focused on the team, then they have a chance to win. Fresh from his victory against the Los Angeles Gladiators, London's Spitfire are looking to continue their attacks on LA Valiant in the semifinals. However, this is not going to be an easy task since the Valiant is the reigning title champion and that he has been the most prominent team in the Overwatch league before the playoffs.
Season Series
They met the first week of stage 1 and they seemed rather different from their current iterations. For the Valiant, they were playing without Indy 'Space & # 39; Halpern and Scott & # 39; Custa & # 39; Kennedy and as for the Spitfire, they were still doing two separate series. That said, their first match was still extremely tight as London managed to win by a score of 3 to 2, in a match that set the tone for a season full of close games. In fact, since that first match, London and Los Angeles have each won a face-to-face battle and are very close to the semifinal.
