Skoda will take the Karoq Scout – a more friendly version of Karoq, his rival Nissan Qashqai – at the Paris Motor Show in October.

The Karoq Scout receives all-wheel drive in series and, in keeping with the other Scout models from the Czech range, a robust style and additional equipment compared to the standard car.

It will be launched with three engine options – a 1.5-liter petrol engine 148 bhp and a 2.0-liter diesel with 148 bhp or 187 bhp. The lower power diesel is the only one to get an optional manual gearbox.

On the outside, the Karoq Scout is marked by a metal rear bumper, wear plates and a fairing. The model receives 18 "wheels in series, with optional 19in alloy wheels as well as exclusive badges and tinted windows.

The interior also has exclusive touches; the seat upholstery gets the custom Scout badge and brown highlights to illustrate that it's a plus-all-terrain variant. It has as standard the configuration of the digital dials of the Virtual Cockpit, as well as the on-board wi-fi.
