The long-awaited deployment of a dark mode for the YouTube application on Android has finally started with a number of users beginning to see the feature appear during the weekend.
The update displays for users who have posted screenshots on reddit, informing that the dark mode has simply appeared when they opened the application. There is a manual switch for dark mode if it is not to your liking which can be found under the "General" tab under Settings.

seems to be nice enough for those who appreciate a darker tone for their applications, and as the parameter suggests that it extends to the whole application rather than just parts. We hope that the deployment will not take too much time because it looks pretty good.
