The first demonstration of Pop.Up Next took place during the drone week in Amsterdam. Dron took a taxi to the scale 1: 4 of the future, and then landed successfully. All this was part of the demonstration of the crazy fantasies of Audi and Airbus, which continues to develop.
The Pop.Up Next concept was introduced for the first time in March of this year. It is a light pbadenger cabin that can accommodate two pbadengers, which can be connected to a self-contained automotive module built by Audi or an autonomous buzz engine manufactured by Airbus. The third participant in this project is Italdesign.
It is interesting to note that the real concept is currently being tested in Europe, especially at the headquarters of the Ingolstadt brand. The idea of combining land and air transport is not new, but the solution of the three partners seems innovative. The goal is to ensure easier movement in overcrowded megacities. This idea is also being studied in South America, with Voom, a division of Airbus.

The interior of Pop.Up Next is dominated by a 49-inch "TV" providing pbadengers with the information they need. The autonomous system uses voice and facial recognition to enable human control. Another is achieved through the technology of gaze tracking and, of course, touch screen manipulation.
