Chinese automaker Great Wall officially introduced its four-wheel drive electric car with front-wheel drive R1 Hour. It is positioned as an affordable urban electric vehicle because its price is barely $ 8600.

The main difference between Ora R1 and other similar electric vehicles is that the battery capacity is not very low.

The Chinese company says that this little electric car can go
an impressive 320 km with a single charge. Electrek, skeptical Web Edition, notes that in reality, the mileage is much smaller – about 240 kilometers. In fact, it all depends on how you test it.

The economy comes from the electric motor. It is one and has a power of 35 KW. This is the reason why the maximum speed of the electric car is 100 km / h. The acceleration time from 0 to 100 km / h is 5.6 seconds. Electrek emphasizes that the new Chinese electric car is particularly adapted to urban conditions. The dimensions of the Ora R1 are 3495 × 1660 × 1530 mm. The weight is 990 kilograms.

The electric car Ora R1 is already sold, but only in the Chinese territory. The Great Wall offers a three-year warranty (up to 120,000 km) of the complete electric car and eight years (up to 150,000 km) of the major components of the new electric car.
