The BFU announced that UEFA's funding for football development in the EU Member States was launched.
The amount generated in the form of a solidarity payment by the European Football Association is determined on the basis of the participation of representatives of the respective countries in the group stage of continental club tournaments.
On the basis of the results obtained by the native speakers, the Bulgarian Football Union will distribute the amounts as follows: 57,250 leva for each club of the first league, 24,500 leva for each club of the second league and as low as 2020 leagues for clubs in the third league.
The translation of UEFA solidarity payments for the teams of the first and second leagues was carried out through the professional football league, to which the Bulgarian Football Union has already reoriented the funds.
The total amount allocated by the European club to the clubs, representatives of the national federations for the 2017/2018 season, amounts to 125 million euros. More than three quarters of this sum goes to countries that participated in the group stage of the Champions League.
