They and the employers attended a meeting with Social Affairs Minister Biser Petkov on Wednesday.
Companies insist on lightening the rules for calculating accumulated hours of work, lifting the prohibition of overtime, fine-tuning maternity leave and relaxing working hours.
The Minister of Social Affairs has promised unions and employers to set up a working group on changes to the labor code. All proposals will be systematized to look for points of intersection between companies and unions.
