US Secretary of Defense James Matisse accused Russia of interfering with the actions of countries in southeastern Europe, particularly those in Montenegro and Macedonia, describing the behavior destabilizer of Moscow, RIA Novosti. "The Russian factor in Southeast Europe is a destabilizing element: Russia is coming and undermining the democratic foundations of the still young countries in their democratic processes that have recently been liberated as nations," Matsis told reporters, questioning about the role of Russia in the events in Montenegro and Macedonia.
According to the head of the Pentagon, Russia's "intervention" is done through "false reports" and also by economic means. "At least, it is useless," added the minister.
