The Municipality of Sofia today launched a sample of trams in the metropolitan street Graf Ignatiev, which was closed for repair for six months. On Tuesday, despite the rain, the workers finished working on the tracks and on the roadway, cleaning and removing the speakers along the track.

The municipality does not commit to a period during which the trams will run regularly under the direction of Graf Ignatiev, but the tests should last 72 hours. The repaired part of the street should then be accepted by the National Directorate of Construction Control. Deputy Mayor Evgeni Krussev only stated that the wait was for this to happen before Christmas. The plans originally announced were to complete the repair by early October.

A report on the coaches' preparations and deaths this morning, see the video.
