A new theme park opens today in Abu Dhabi. The park is the fruit of a collaboration between the American entertainment company Warner Bros. and the local holding company Miral Asset Management LLC.
The closed theme park, called World Abu Dhabi, allows visitors to be part of the magical world of Warner Bros. The Yas Island Park is divided into 6 districts and is considered one of the largest amusement parks in the world. It extends to more than 1.65 million square meters and its value is $ 1 billion
Already in the ticket buying area, guests are greeted with images of characters from favorite cartoons such as Scooby-Doo. The next moment begins adventure and fun. Families can spend the whole day at this amusement park featuring 29 water sports, theme centers, unique shows and around 15 shops.
The center is Warner Bros. Plaza, where comic heroes from different venues can meet in one place with visitors.
Other entertainment activities include "Gothman City", home of the billionaire Batman, "Cartoon Junction", home of the bugs Bunny, Dynamite Gultch, Bedrock, and Metropolis.
Guests can meet the Joker Challenge by joining The Joker's Funhouse, a lobby with mirrors and a narrowing hallway. They can learn more about Tweety, Tom and Jerry and learn more about them. Everywhere there are souvenir shops. Customers can buy fashion accessories, hats or toys, depending on the theme and the store.
