Destiny 2 Shadowkeep Calendar

Bungie

October 5th, Saturday after Shadow guardBungie will launch the Garden of Salvation raid and the seasonal Vex Offensive event. Players do not know much about any of these activities, even though, from a narrative point of view, it seems that the Vex from Black Garden have come to invade the moon. The players will probably begin to understand why it's thanks to the Shadow guard countryside.

It should be noted that the raid is purely for Shadow guard players, while the Vex offensive requires the Season of the Undying Pass (included with Shadow guardbut also purchasable alone).

The following Tuesday, October 8, Shadow guard players can activate Hero or Legend difficulties for the mysterious Nightmare Hunts mode. On October 15, a week later, Bungie will launch the main fixture for Nightmare Hunts. The first Iron Banner of Season 8 will also begin Tuesday, October 15, free for all. Destiny 2 players.

On October 22, Bungie will unveil a new exotic quest to follow. The weapon is Leviathan's breath, the first heavy bow in the series. This quest is part of Season of the Undying, not Shadow guard.

October 29th is the most important date after the launch, with the simultaneous launch of four different activities. Shadow guardThe new dungeon arrives this Tuesday, alongside a new exotic quest for an Arc trace rifle, Divinity. Players who do not have Shadow guard or Season of the Undying can discover the Festival of the Lost Halloween event and Momentum Control's new PvP mode.

Finally, on November 5th, players will be able to tackle the first raid challenge for the Garden of Salvation. Later in the month, Bungie will launch the last Vex offensive on November 19th. The final offensive is the last event on the calendar, although Bungie could reveal more at a later date.

Bungie listed the Shadow guard calendar from October to December, despite the absence of December date. We do not know if Shadow guardThe delay pushed the exit of season 9 to 2020, or if the players expected it in December as Destiny 2: Armory Black last year.

Destiny 2 counts weapons

Bungie

Regarding weapons changes, Bungie offers a preview of upcoming patch notes.

The biggest change concerns the health of enemy combatants. Minor enemies currently suffer twice as much precision damage as other types of enemies. With Shadow guardBungie will remove this bonus, which will make it more difficult for enemies to shoot with one shot in the head.

To compensate, Bungie increases the basic damage of several types of weapons:

  • Automatic rifles
  • Bows
  • Hand guns
  • Machine guns
  • Shotguns
  • Scout rifles
  • Side arms
  • Sniper rifles
  • submachine

These changes should have a greater impact than others on highly accurate weapons, such as bows and scout rifles. It is unclear if these types of weapons can still kill a minor enemy at a time, but reducing precision damage for other weapons should improve their viability.

Bungie will also edit some Exotics on October 1st, including:

  • Sweet Business (damage, magazine capacity, benefits improvements)
  • Graviton Lance (damage)
  • Sunshot (magazine capacity)
  • Wing of vigilance (damage)
  • Crimson (pity, bug fix)
  • Ruthless (bug fix)
  • Ace of spades (nerve advantage)
  • Lumina (quality of life)
  • The Colony (improved benefits)

Bungie will release Destiny 2: Guarding shadows and Destiny 2: new light for the PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One on October 1st. The studio will release Google Stadia versions later this year.
