According to CBS News, the rolls, manufactured by Flowers Food, may contain small pieces of hard plastic resulting from a manufacturing problem.

The buns have expiry dates of 17, 18 or 19 July and have been sold in these states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and West Virginia.
