Business leaders tell GOP to start Biden transition or no money for Georgia Senate second round

According to New York Times, more than 100 business leaders will ask the Trump administration on Monday to immediately recognize Joe Biden’s victory and begin the transfer. The newspaper reports that if this does not happen, the leaders could threaten to withhold campaign donations from Georgia’s two Republican candidates whose run-offs will determine the balance of power in the Senate. In a letter to be sent on Monday, business leaders will demand that Emily Murphy, chief of general service administration, issue a letter to confirm that Biden has won and the transition can begin.
