BYU ended its regular season on a high note, beating Saint Mary’s 65-51 in Senior Night at the Marriott Center on Saturday.

The Cougars and Gaels both struggled to shoot in the first half, but the Cougars (19-5, 9-3 West Coast Conference) were scorching in the second, shooting 66.7%. This helped BYU to surpass Saint Mary’s 42.6% to 33.3% for the game. After the Gaels (13-8, 4-6 WCC) reduced BYU’s lead to 34-30 with 16:02 remaining, the Cougars scored 14 of the next 16 points in the game to take control.
